A lifelong passion
From an early age, LawdGad harboured a deep love and passion for music. Growing up in Jamaica/UK, he was heavily inspired by a diverse range of genres, including Dancehall/reggae, Hip Hop, Rnb, and Soul. Artists like Vybz Kartel, Alkaline, Intence, Popcaan, and Skillibeng have significantly shaped his musical style and aspirations.
Focus on music
In 2021, LawdGad made a pivotal decision to fully commit to his music career, choosing to hang up his football boots and dedicate himself entirely to his craft. Since transitioning from a dedicated listener to a performing artist in 2019, LawdGad has relentlessly pursued his musical ambitions.
Achievements
LawdGad's journey has already seen significant milestones, including supporting Dexta Daps on his UK tour and receiving airplay on BBC 1Xtra, the UK's leading urban radio station. LawdGad had been on tour with legendary reggae artist Turbulence in Australia foe 3 weeks. has also featured on the Seani B Limb x Limb Riddim production alongside established artists such as Iwaata, Pamputee, Rose don, etc.
